Some of the Paremus team will be at the OSGi Community Event next week from Tues 29 to Thurs 31 Oct. The conference is being co-located with EclipseCon Europe at the Forum am Schlosspark in Ludwigsburg.
- Neil Bartlett (with Ferry Huberts) is providing what has proven to be a popular tutorial – Mastering OSGi with Ease from 09.00 to 12.00 on Tues 29 Oct.
- Neil will also be providing a Lightning Talk (with Peter Kriens) on Tues at 17.30 called OSGi Puzzlers.
- Tim Ward is also giving a Lightning Talk on Tues at 17.30 and his talk title is When is ‘optional’ really optional?
- Tim has a full presentation called Building dynamic distributed data stores with OSGi on Weds 30 Oct from 13.45 to 14.20
There’s lots of other OSGi goodness with all 3 days packed with talks and tutorials and an OSGi BOF on Weds evening from 19.00.
I will be there too, chairing a track on Weds and moderating the Lightning Talks on Tues.
As with all great conferences there is plenty of social time too with organised activities including a drinks reception, Stammtisch and even a Circus! And if memory serves me well they all include the consumption of lots of yummy german beer….
And if you are heading to the Community Event you might also be interested in the Code Camp that the OSGi Users’ Forum Germany are running on Mon 28 Oct in Ludwigsburg. Neil Bartlett will be working with Peter Kriens to guide attendees through the coding for Building OSGi based HTML5 Web Application.
Hope to see you in Ludwigsburg next week. Feel free to grab any of us if you have any questions or would like to chat. If you want to arrange a slot to meet up (the schedule is gruelling I know) then feel free to drop us a mail.
